2021-12-17 To Hell and Back.

This was an Expedition to remember. After a punishing three and a half weeks the crew and production (all Expedition Media) working in Ethiopia have returned safely having dropped nearly 35 degrees in temperature and losing around 20 stone in weight between them. Whilst illness and fatigue was a big issue for everyone, the the team never stopped and worked against incredible odds to achieve their goals. Lion TV production team deserve a big thank you for all their hard work to help the team through the trip. This even extended to being met at the airport with champagne for everyone. Congratulations to everyone involved. Enjoy the Christmas break and look forward to more adventures next year!

2021-11-06 Hottest location on Earth.

The Danakil Depression in Ethiopia records average temperatures of 40 to 60 degrees celcius during the day and 35 at night. Crew, production and support teams are majority Expedition Media members, up for this unique challenge to make a five part documentary in one of the most extreme places on the planet. The latest High Def Sony cameras will be pushed to their limits. This is going to be an adventure to remember with lots of stories to tell on the teams return to a cold Christmas at home. Good luck to all involved.
