Duncan Barber and Wildtrackers 4x4 end of 2011 update.
Andrew Dacey has been busy in Wales training various government organisations in the safe use of 4x4s in hostile environments. Duncan Barbour, along with Jim West and Slawek had a 75 day stay in China setting up and running the off-road elements for Lexus. This was for the larger models that we don’t see in the UK, based on the two bigger Land Cruisers. And Karl Trunk and Bob Ives were in India to help Top Gear along with the three British cars for 2011′s Christmas special. As well as driving the tracking cars, the two were responsible for vehicle maintenance and sorting the ‘off-road’ modifications. Most of it went to plan!
Despite economic uncertainty around the world, British Television is set to celebrate various milestones in TV Production during 2012. The BBC News Channel, Channel FIVE and Teletubbies celebrate 15 years on air. Newsround and Emmerdale will reach 40 years and Top Gear will mark it's 35th year. No doubt Jeremy Clarkeson will try for a third big PR blunder before then.
The biggest TV Production of this year will undoubtedly be the Olympic Games. Great Britain has often lead the field in TV Production creativity and technical skill which puts us at the top around the world in many peoples eyes.
Nostradamus predicted the end of the world will be 21st December 2012 but hopefully he just meant Big Brother finally being put to rest.
Presenter and EXPEDITIONMEDIA member Monty Halls is soon to appear on a new epic underwater series. This two year filming effort condensed into three hours, has some truly wonderful moments exploring and celebrating the largest living structure on earth.
It comes out at 8pm on Sunday 1st Jan on BBC2
